Using Digital Storytelling as a Tool that Engages Youth to Become Change Agents
A well-told story has the power to shift human understanding and behaviour. Storytelling can be one of the most effective tools for activating and guiding young people to deliver messages that affect people positively, promote self-acceptance and inclusion.
On that occasion, with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom and the British Embassy in Skopje, youth from nine communities crafted nine stories that help in developing empathy and acceptance of others’ perspectives and views.
The winning video of Lipkovo youth is a story which can elicit social change, introduces multiple perspectives aimed at social impact, and communicates a positive message.
