Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across North Macedonia, IOM provides a comprehensive response to the humanitarian needs of migrants, internally displaced persons, returnees and host communities.

Further support to strengthen the response capacity to manage migration flows in North Macedonia funded by the European Union

Overall objective:
The project will contribute to the efforts of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia to address the social and health vulnerabilities of migrants and refugees as well as to strengthen capacities in addressing cross-border crime, with a focus on trafficking in human beings and smuggling of migrants in line with international standards.
