EU Support to the Community-Based Activities in North Macedonia
Kicevo - On May 18th 2022, Sonja Bozinovska Petrushevska, Head of the IOM Mission in North Macedonia, Xheladin Ajvazi, government representative and municipality representatives of Kicevo, visited High School “Drita” in Kicevo.
High School Drita is one of the few educational institutions that received a grant by IOM North Macedonia to purchase new sporting and essential medical equipment and supplies intended for use by students from High School Drita, as well as students from High School Mirko Mileski with whom they share sports facilities.
At the invitation of Festim Ahmeti, Director of High School “Drita”, the delegation had the opportunity to observe a medical experiment conducted by the students, as well as to watch a basketball game.
This Community initiative is supported by the European Union.
