Capacitating National Stakeholders in Migration Data Collection and Exchange
IOM has organized two-day capacity building training for 17 members of the intra-governmental body for development of migration policy and members of the Technical Working Group of the MPTF Joint Project on “Improving inter and intra-institutional data collection and exchange mechanisms and practices” on 23-24 February 2022.
At the end of the training, 80% of the trained participants were able to provide correct responses to the post-training questionnaire showing an increase of knowledge in the area of inter-and intra-institutional migration data collection and exchange mechanisms and practices and their alignment with EU and international standards.
The activity was done within the Joint Project “Evidence-based migration policy and discourse in North Macedonia” funded by the Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) and implemented by IOM, UNHCR and UNFPA under the overall coordination of the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office.
